New GatherPlace Pricing, New Software for Mac Users, and SureView HTML Viewer for All Guests
July 8, 2008 GatherWorks, Inc. announces a new pricing structure for GatherPlace, bringing larger meeting capacity to our already low rates, plus a greatly enhanced software client for Mac Users.
New Pricing - Attention Current Customers: Take advantage of the great new rates by simply clicking on the package you want (for example, if you have an old 25- guest account, you can now change it to the 100-guest account for the same price), by going to My Account > Account Settings > Upgrade or Downgrade Account, then click "Proceed."
We also have a new eCommerce engine (you can now download billing history and store and manage multiple cards!!), so please re-enter your credit card information. Your account will update automatically. Update Now!

GatherPlace 4.2 Released for Users on Mac
GatherWorks, Inc. announced the release of GatherPlace 4.2, which brings a vastly superior software client to the GatherPlace web conferencing experience for Hosts on the Mac OS platform.
In addition to fixing some known issues with the old Mac software client, we've optimized GatherPlace 4.2 to be much faster and more stable. It also supports Mac Leopard. Your online meetings and remote support will "just work"!!
Attention Current Mac Customers: Your current Host software client will continue work as before, or you can upgrade to GatherPlace 4.2 for free.

All Guests Have it Easier Too! No More Downloads & New Session Join Wizard
The revolutionary patent-pending SureView™ HTML- based viewer for guests on any operating system eliminates the need for any installed plug-in or standalone proprietary software.
Other vendors install software for guests without their knowledge or permission. Some guests may even end up with an icon on their desktop and annoying popups trying to convince them to try the web conferencing solution.
GatherPlace always supported Java enabled browsers, but now all you need is a modern HTML browser to join a session if the browser is not Java enabled. No Java or Flash required and this means fewer issues for guests joining your session, so you can get to business immediately and not be distracted by technology issues.
