November 17, 2009--GatherWorks, Inc. announced the release of GatherPlace 4.3, which brings an even higher quality software client to Mac and PC users.
In addition to fixing some known issues with 4.2, GatherPlace 4.3 operates fantastically on a greater range of web browsers and platforms (including Snow Leopard and Windows 7), guaranteeing you and your guests will have a pleasurable experience, no matter the computer or web browser.
Additionally, guests who are joining a session for the first time will have an easier time connecting to a session using GatherPlace's smart connection. It automatically detects the method through which the guest will have the best experience and gets them in quickly, so you can start your session on time and with confidence that everyone is on the same page.
Toll-free Teleconferencing Is Not Just for Premium Customers Anymore: We have expanded our service offering to provide toll-free teleconferencing to all our customers. If you are interested, you can simply turn on the toll-free option by going to your account at www.GatherPlace.net > My Account > Account Settings > Upgrade or Downgrade Account, then enable "Tollfree Voice". Our rate: 10 cents per caller/per minute.
